Fall Semester registration kicks off April 5

April is the perfect time to plan ahead, meet with an advisor and register for the Fall Semester.

Current students can get a jump on the semester by registering early for the best selection of classes. Registration begins:

  • Monday, April 5, at 6 a.m. for current students with 30 or more credits and veterans.
  • Wednesday, April 7, at 6 a.m. for current students with fewer than 30 credits.

Registration for newly accepted students begins April 12, and open registration for students who aren’t seeking a degree starts May 10.

April is Advising Month, and students are encouraged to meet with their faculty advisor and/or the Advising Office to review their degree audit, ask questions about which classes to take, plan their Fall Semester schedule and register.  Students can search and register for courses on My Maine Guide.

For help, students can contact the Advising Office at advising@smccME.edu or 207-741-5835. If you have a quick question that needs answering, the Advising Office is hosting a series of drop-in advising sessions on Zoom throughout April.

Students can also get answers to questions using the Advising Chat feature, available on My Maine Guide from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Monday-Friday, or leave a message and somebody will get back within 24 hours.
