April is the perfect time to plan ahead, meet with an advisor and register for the Fall Semester.
Current students can get a jump on the semester by registering early for the best selection of classes. Registration begins:
- Monday, April 5, at 6 a.m. for current students with 30 or more credits and veterans.
- Wednesday, April 7, at 6 a.m. for current students with fewer than 30 credits.
Registration for newly accepted students begins April 12, and open registration for students who aren’t seeking a degree starts May 10.
April is Advising Month, and students are encouraged to meet with their faculty advisor and/or the Advising Office to review their degree audit, ask questions about which classes to take, plan their Fall Semester schedule and register. Â Students can search and register for courses on My Maine Guide.
For help, students can contact the Advising Office at advising@smccME.edu or 207-741-5835. If you have a quick question that needs answering, the Advising Office is hosting a series of drop-in advising sessions on Zoom throughout April.
Students can also get answers to questions using the Advising Chat feature, available on My Maine Guide from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Monday-Friday, or leave a message and somebody will get back within 24 hours.
