With Southern Maine Community College (SMCC) Fall Semester registration beginning March 6, now is the time to prepare.
Advising Month, which kicks off March 1 and runs all month, is the time SMCC doubles down to help students succeed. Students should review their degree audit, meet with a faculty or staff advisor, ask questions about which classes to take, and plan ahead before registering.
Registration for fall begins:
- Monday, March 6 at 6 a.m., for current students with 30 or more credits, and veterans
- Wednesday, March 8 at 6 a.m., for current students with fewer than 30 credits
Staff advisors at the Advising office at the South Portland Campus Center are available for help Monday through Thursday, 10 a.m. – 2 p.m., and Friday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. You can also call 207-741-5835 or email advising@smccME.edu, or text at 207-299-2957.
