Looking to take classes in the Summer or the Fall Semester? Here are some important facts and dates to keep in mind.
Summer 2021
Registration for Summer courses is now open. This is the first time SMCC will be offering official “sub-terms” for the summer term. You’ll see this when you choose your term in the course search drop-down menu. There are options for classes that run the first half of the semester (June 1 to July 10), the second half (July 12 to August 21), a later start (June 28 to August 21), or the full term (June 1 to August 21). For initial course searching, we recommend choosing the Summer 2021 (All Courses) option to see everything that is available.
Fall 2021
The registration dates for the Fall Semester have been pushed back from their original dates in March. You may have seen information about this come through your email from our Registrar. As a reminder, here are those tiered registration opening dates:
- Monday, April 5: Current students that have already earned 30 or more credits
- Wednesday, April 7: Current students that have already earned 29 or less credits
- Monday, April 12: Newly accepted students
- Monday, May 10: Open registration for the general public
