Cost of Attendance (COA)

For the purposes of determining financial aid eligibility, the Cost of Attendance is an estimate of the following:

  • Tuition & fees
  • Room & meal costs (or living expenses for students who do not live on campus)
  • Books & supplies
  • Transportation
  • Loan fees
  • Miscellaneous expenses (such as a computer)
  • Allowance for child care or other dependent care
  • Costs related to a disability

The cost of attendance is also referred to as your “financial aid budget.”
