Cost of Attendance (COA)

For the purposes of determining financial aid eligibility, the Cost of Attendance is an estimate of the following:

  • Tuition & fees.
  • Room & board costs (or living expenses for students who do not live on campus).
  • Books & supplies.
  • Transportation.
  • Loan fees.
  • Miscellaneous expenses (such as a computer).
  • Allowance for child care or other dependent care.
  • Costs related to a disability.

The cost of attendance is also referred to as your “financial aid budget.”
