This course prepares participants for the NFPA Certified Fire Inspector (CFI) credential in accordance with NFPA 1030, Standard for Professional Qualifications for Fire Inspector and Plan Examiner, combining both CFI-I and CFI-II job performance requirements.
The training focuses on the core codes and standards used by fire inspectors in the field and is designed to build the knowledge and practical understanding needed to successfully pass the NFPA CFI exam and perform inspections competently and consistently. Prerequisites
To qualify for this training you must meet the following prerequisites:
- At least 18 years of age
- High School diploma, GED or HiSet
- Resident of Maine
- Proof of authorization to work in the U.S.
- Impacted by the pandemic
- Previous fire industry experience required
