Step 1: Get Started with our Online Advising & Registration Tool

Access our online advising tool anytime to learn how to create a schedule and register for classes and get many other helpful tips.

Interested in living on campus? We encourage you to use the tool to register for classes as soon as possible. You’ll not only get the best choice of courses, but you need to be signed up for classes to apply for on-campus housing. Visit our Housing webpage for more details on applying.

Small Group Advising Session by Pathway

Our small group sessions include no more than 5 students! You will meet with a Staff/Pathway Advisor and other students in your Pathway, learn about degree requirements, your student portal, and sign up for classes!

Accepted Student Day by Pathway

An Accepted Student Day is a great time to: meet faculty, staff, and fellow students from your Pathway area; learn how to navigate MySMCC, your SMCC student portal; create a schedule and register for classes. If you’ve already registered using our online tool, we will review your schedule to ensure you are signed up for the appropriate courses for your major.

This is a one-on-one session with your Staff/Pathway Advisor. Staff have a limited number of these appointments, and may be booking far into the future.
