McKernan Inn & Events is bringing back its beloved Tea & Tides series with a special Valentine’s-themed high tea on February 15, 2025. This elegant afternoon offers a traditional British high tea experience featuring an array of
handcrafted savory bites, freshly baked scones, and indulgent sweets, all paired with hand-selected teas to complement each course.
Guests can enjoy delicacies such as smoked salmon on Danish rye, Coronation chicken profiteroles, and chocolate raspberry tartlets alongside classic English scones served with McKernan ‘clotted’ cream and strawberry jam. For those looking to elevate their experience, a champagne option is available.
Students from SMCC’s L.Joe Van Why School of Hospitality and Culinary programs will provide service for all aspects of the event.
