Add a class before Sept. 8. Fall Add/Drop & 100% Refund Deadline

Whether you’re looking to pick up an extra elective or stay on track for graduation, there’s still time to add courses to your Fall schedule.

Plus, don’t forget, SMCC’s 100% refund add/drop deadline for Fall, full-semester courses is Tuesday, September 8 at 5 p.m.

Online: Log into Anthology Student to manage your schedule anytime (check our Registration FAQ page for step-by-step guides).
In Person: Visit the Advising Office to complete an add/drop form with an advisor.

Tuesday, September 8 by 5:00 p.m. – Deadline for a 100% refund on full-semester courses added or dropped.
Monday, September 14 by 5:00 p.m. – Deadline for a 50% refund on course withdrawals.
Note: Courses shorter than a full semester have pro-rated deadlines based on course length.

If you withdraw from a full-semester course between Tuesday, Sept. 8, at 5 p.m. through Monday, Sept. 14, at 5 p.m. you are entitled to a 50 percent refund for tuition and fees for that course.
Refunds are unavailable for any course withdrawals after Monday, Sept. 14, 5 p.m, or for shorter-term courses with pro-rated add/drop periods.
Withdrawn courses appear on official transcripts with a grade of a “W.”
Course withdrawals are processed by emailing smccregistration@mainecc.edu to request a course withdrawal or by completing a withdrawal form in the Advising Office.
