Southern Maine Community College invites you to the Grand Opening of our Intercultural Center. Carmen Moreno-Díaz, Director of the Intercultural Center and Shona Workman, Intercultural Advisor, are excited to share the exciting new Center with the SMCC community.
What is the Intercultural Center?
Director Moreno-Díaz describes the Center best, “We are slowly crafting a deliberate space of belonging among New Mainers, intercultural students, and students who have English as their second or third language, all of whom embrace their rich cultural roots. Our main purpose is to help them succeed academically by creating networks of support.”
