Director Moreno-Díaz describes the Center best, “We are slowly crafting a deliberate space of belonging among New Mainers, intercultural students, and students who have English as their second or third language, all of whom embrace their rich cultural roots. Our main purpose is to help them succeed academically by creating networks of support.”
Join us at 2 p.m., Monday, November 14 at the Howe Hall Campus Drive Entrance for Grand Opening remarks and a ribbon-cutting ceremony. After, please join us in the Center at Howe Hall 300 (3rd Floor) for a look at the Center and some light food and refreshments.
Please come and share the excitement of this special occasion.
