SMCC to host inaugural Family and Friends Weekend

SMCC will welcome alumni, families, students and others for alumni mixers, a Casco Bay cruise, a lobster bake and a full slate of other activities during the College’s inaugural Family & Friends WSMCC Friends and Family Weekendeekend.

The event provides an opportunity for parents to join students and experience SMCC’s campuses first-hand, and for alumni to visit, meet with old friends and see how the college has changed. Activities are scheduled from Friday, Oct. 1, through Sunday, Oct. 3.

“We are excited to be starting up the Family & Friends Weekend and are planning for it to be an annual event,” said Jason Saucier, Associate Dean of Students. “This is great time of year in Maine to invite families and alumni to join our community for a weekend of fun.”
