Southern Maine Community College has postponed the Family, Friends & Homecoming Week events scheduled for this Saturday, Sept. 26, and Sunday, Sept. 27, due to the severe weather forecast.
The safety of students, employees, alumni, families, friends and other guests is the College’s top priority. Updated information about the affected events will be posted on the Family, Friends & Homecoming Week webpage.
The Seaside Social has been rescheduled for Friday, Oct. 16, from 5-7:30 p.m. at McKernan Inn & Events. The event will be free for SMCC faculty and staff and will provide an opportunity for members of the College community to enjoy an evening of conversation, connection and celebration overlooking Casco Bay.
Those who previously purchased a Seaside Social ticket will be able to use that ticket for admission to A Light on the Point. The College will contact ticket holders directly with additional information.
