The SMCC Nursing Program is holding a virtual Graduation Pinning Ceremony to celebrate and honor the nursing graduates in the Class of 2020.
The virtual ceremony will make its premiere through SMCC’s YouTube channel starting at 10 a.m., Saturday, June 20. It will remain on the YouTube page following the premiere showing so people can view it at their convenience.
A traditional pinning ceremony couldn’t be held this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic. In place of an in-person ceremony, the program produced a video so students, families, friends, faculty, staff and others can see the ceremony remotely and pay tribute to the 53 nursing graduates, who are entering the workforce during a time of critical need.
