How to Log In:
Use your SMCC email address (ending in @mainecc.edu) to log into the app.
After signing in, be sure to select whether you are a Student, Staff, or Faculty Member to complete the setup in the settings section. We have included screenshots below to help out.
Rave Mobile Safety App
The Rave Guardian mobile app provides tools on your mobile phone to enhance your personal safety.
- Submit Tips: Have two-way communication with campus safety officials, with an optional anonymous mode, to report suspicious behavior, unsafe situations, accidents, crimes and other hazards.
- Safety Timer: If you feel unsafe, you can invite friends and family to join your network as your “guardians,” set a timer with your current location, and indicate where you are going and when you expect to arrive. Your guardians will be notified if you do not make it there in the expected time. If you downloaded the Guardian app before this week, you must reinstall it to activate this feature.
- 911: Call local police with just a single touch of the screen.
- Call SMCC Security: Call on-campus security officers with a touch of the screen.
- Inbox: Receive emergency alerts, campus closure notifications, and other timely updates on your screen.
- Emergency Info: Have access to SMCC lockdown procedures and campus evacuation maps.
