Students graduating in May from Southern Maine Community College’s art program are exhibiting their paintings, sculpture, mixed-media drawings, photographs and other art work at the 3Fish art gallery.
The art will be on exhibit from 1-4 p.m. on April 28 and 29 at 3Fish, located at 377 Cumberland Av. An opening reception, free and open to the public, will be held from 5-7 p.m. April 29.
The six students who are showing their work are:
- Jessica Baker (abstract and still-life paintings)
- Colton Blake (charcoal drawings, landscape and still-life paintings, and sculpture)
- Shandar Erebus (acrylic and watercolor paintings inspired by traditional tattoos)
- Delaney Fone (photos from a cityscape series, mixed-media drawings and Impressionist-style animal paintings)
- Night (a series of illustrations representing different body types of women that show how beautiful they are)
- Torie Trynor (interactive display of illustrations and character design)
