Over twenty colleges and universities in Maine and across New England will be on hand at the Southern Maine Community College (SMCC) spring Transfer Fair where students can learn about transfer opportunities after graduation.
The fair is scheduled from 11 a.m.-1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, March 1, at the Noisy Lounge in the Campus Center. The fair allows students to do some one-stop shopping by learning about schools’ academic programs, financial aid, student life and other things that go int
o deciding where to transfer. The fair will also feature food, music and giveaways. For more information, students can contact Transfer Services at transfer@smccME.edu or visit My Maine Guide>My Career & Transfer on the student portal.
“Students can learn about the offerings of over twenty regional schools simply by stopping by the fair,” said Addie LaRoche, SMCC’s Director of Career and Transfer Services. “Students can check many items off their lists while learning about academic programs, financial aid, student life and other things that will be part of their decision process when figuring out where they want to transfer.”
