It’s time to prepare as Southern Maine Community College (SMCC) Fall Semester registration starts on March 4.
Advising Month, which kicks off March 1 and runs all month, is the time SMCC doubles down to help students succeed. Students should review their degree audit, meet with a faculty or staff advisor, ask questions about which classes to take, and plan ahead before registering.
Registration for fall begins:
- Monday, March 4 at 6 a.m., for current students with 30 or more credits and veterans
- Wednesday, March 6 at 6 a.m., for current students with fewer than 30 credits

Registration for summer classes also begins Monday, February 26 for current students. Open registration for summer begins March 18, and classes start May 28.
