Attend Open House at our South Portland Campus this Fall
Rescheduled to Saturday, October 17, 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
With safety as our top priority and severe weather forecast for this weekend, SMCC has rescheduled its Fall Open House from Saturday, Sept. 26, to Saturday, Oct. 17.
The rescheduled Open House will take place from 9 a.m.-noon at our South Portland Campus. Those who already registered for the Sept. 26 event will be contacted directly with information about next steps for Oct. 17. Registration also remains open for the new date.
Now is the time to learn all that SMCC can do for you. Students and families will have opportunities to meet with Admissions, connect with faculty from their academic program of interest, tour our waterfront campus and learn about financial aid, student support services and campus life.
Can’t wait to connect with SMCC? Visit us at the Cumberland Fair from Sunday, Sept. 27, through Saturday, Oct. 3. Our team will be available to answer questions and share information about programs, admissions and enrollment.
There is also still time to begin classes this fall. SMCC’s 12-week term starts Monday, Sept. 28. Learn more about the 12-week term at www.smccME.edu/time.
Event Day Schedule
- 8:00 – 8:45 a.m. – Check-in/Registration (HUB Lawn Space)
- 8:45 – 9:00 a.m. – Welcome from President Miller, Schedule overview with Admissions (HUB Gym)
- 9:15 – 10:00 a.m. – Admissions/Student Supports Presentation (Jewett Auditorium) OR Campus Tour (Departs from Campus Center)
- 10:15 – 11:00 a.m. – Academic Program Presentation Session #1 (at buildings/locations designated by the academic departments) OR Admissions/Student Supports Presentation (Jewett Auditorium)
- 11:15 AM – 12:00 p.m. – Academic Program Presentation Session #2 (at buildings/locations designated by the departments) OR Campus Tour (Departs from Campus Center)
- 12:00 p.m. – Formal programming ends – Lunch BBQ open to all open house attendees / attend baseball, softball games, etc.
