Short-Term Training

No cost to trainees. $500/week attendance incentive.

In partnership with General Dynamic Bath Iron Works. Topics covered include: out of position T-joint welds, groove welds, vertical welds, stick and flux core, oxy cutting, plasma cutting, non-destructive and destructive testing — and more!

Upon completion of this accelerated program you will be aligned to enter the workforce. General Dynamics Bath Iron works will conduct job interviews with qualified applicants upon completion of the program.

Prerequisites

To qualify for this training you must meet the following prerequisites:

  • At least 18 years old
  • High School diploma, GED or HiSet
  • U.S. Citizenship and/or authorization to work in the US required.
  • Preference given to those with previous trade experience or training
  • Testing may be required
