SMCC’s Summer Academy program is designed to help newly accepted SMCC students get ahead academically and connect socially.  Students meet faculty and fellow students while taking free classes designed to ensure their success and speed their graduation. Each student is assigned a dedicated Success Coach who works with them over the summer and throughout the year.

Who is eligible for free tuition and financial support?

Free tuition to the program and priority scholarship consideration is provided to in-state students with financial need. In order for us to determine financial need, you will need to:

  • Complete your FAFSA application (school code 005525), or
  • Complete our online Financial Need Estimator.

Students who are not eligible for support may be asked to pay tuition of $500.

When will Summer Academy be held?

July 9-25, Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday, 9 a.m.-4 p.m.
