The Rotary Clubs of South Portland – Cape Elizabeth and Breakwater Daybreak presented a check for $15,000 to Southern Maine Community College on Wednesday, July 30 at the Peter A. McKernan Hospitality Center at SMCC.

The money was raised during the International Food Festival held on campus last April 26, 2008 and is used to support the College’s international and multicultural students through the International Student Scholarship. Over the past four events, SMCC and the Rotary Clubs have raised $39,700 for international and multicultural student scholarships.
