, M.S., Faculty, Learning Assistance Center. Joyce has an undergraduate degree in Psychology with minors in both Mathematics and Biology and a graduate degree in Counseling and Human Systems with a specialty in Career Counseling. Joyce initiated the Career Counseling and Placement program at SMTC in '84, then taught in the Math Dept. for one year before joining the LAC. She has taken courses in Accounting I & II, Physics I & II, Statistics, Calculus I, Basic Programming, True Basic, Visual Basic, Access Database Management in Access, Introduction to AutoCAD, Applied AutoCAD, Advanced AutoCAD, Strength & Materials, Introduction to Horticulture, Woody Plants, Herbaceous Plants, Plant Pests and Math for Computers. In addition to tutoring in English, math and physics, Joyce's exclusive areas are in AutoCAD, Access, VB, Accounting and Strength & Materials.

, M.A., B.A., Language Coordinator, Learning Assistance Center. Anna received her M.A. in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages from the School for International Training. She has an undergraduate degree in English from USM with a minor in Education. She joined the Learning Assistance Center in the fall of 2008.

, A.A.S., Teacher Aide II, Learning Assistance Center. Karen received her degree in Administrative Office Management from SMTC in 2002 and has been working as an office assistant in the LAC since September, 2002. She was hired full time in 2003 as a teaching assistant tutoring students in basic math, college algebra, computer applications and dosage calculations.

, B.A., Education Assistant II, Academic Achievement Center. Justin graduated from the University of Southern Maine in 2002 with a degree in Physics and Mathematics. He became a part of the Academic Achievement Center in the fall of 2009.
