Joyce has an undergraduate degree in Psychology with minors in both Mathematics and Biology and a graduate degree in Counseling and Human Systems with a specialty in Career Counseling. Joyce initiated the Career Counseling and Placement program at SMTC in '84, then taught in the Math Dept. for one year before joining the LAC. She has taken courses in  Accounting I & II, Physics I & II, Statistics, Calculus I, Basic Programming, True Basic, Visual Basic, Access Database Management in Access, Introduction to AutoCAD, Applied AutoCAD, Advanced AutoCAD, Strength & Materials, Introduction to Horticulture, Woody Plants, Herbaceous Plants, Plant Pests and Math for Computers. Anna received her M.A. in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages from the School for International Training. She has an undergraduate degree in English from USM with a minor in Education.
