The Culinary Arts Dining Room also serves as an upscale epicurean "lab" for the College's Culinary Arts department. The department offers luncheons open to the public each week during the academic year. Patrons enjoy a gourmet dining experience with cuisine produced by SMCC culinary arts students while students learn the fine art of running a full-service restaurant. With a spectacular view of Casco Bay and the islands, the dining room offers the perfect backdrop for informal business meetings and work and non-work luncheons.

Lunch is served during the academic year:

Wednesday and Thursday, 12 to 1:30 pm –– four-course meals
Friday, 12 to 1:30 pm –– buffet lunch
$12 per person

“TUTTI A TABLA MANGARI”


FETTUCINNI ALFREDO
Thin strips of pasta and mushrooms bound with a rich creamy, parmesan sauce.

Zuppa DI MINESTRONE
The favorite Italian soup combining fresh vegetables with ditalini
pasta in a garlic flavored chicken broth.

 
SALATA PANZANELLA
A mix of diced cucumber, peppers, celery, tomatoes, and croutons tossed in basil flavored red wine vinaigrette.
or
ANTIPASTA
A selection of savory olives, cheese and sausage slices drizzled with a balsamic dressing.


LASAGNE PRIMA VERA
Layers of pasta, cheese and vegetables bound with white and red sauces.
or
POLLO ALLA PICCATA
Tender pan fried chicken breast served with a white wine and butter sauce garnished with capers, shallots, garlic and parsley.
or
OSSO PORCINA
Pork shanks braised in a rich brown sauce enriched with tomato, garlic, lemon zest and parsley.
or
CIOPPINO
Mussels, shrimp, scallops and pieces of locally caught fish cooked in a flavorful stock containing a selection of diced vegetables, accompanied with pesto croustades.
or
CALZONE
 A pizza dough enclosed mixture of cheeses, deli meat, tomato and mushrooms on a bed of mixed greens.


The chicken and pork dishes are served with risotto Milanese and spinaci alla romana.
A selection of desserts will be offered
