 Spring Seasons Hopeful for Opening as Scheduled...

   Both the Seawolves Baseball and Softball teams are hopeful to get outside for their first scheduled games of the season. The baseball and softball teams open up at home on Sat., April 5th. The softball team will play at Wainwright Complex in South Portland and the baseball team will be on their home field. First pitch will be thrown at 1:00pm.

The Seawolves softball team has 3 returning All-Conference players to lead the charge this spring season, first baseman Jodi McCallian (Rochester, NH), shortstop Melissa Sanborn (Gorham, ME), and outfielder Michelle Hudd (Malden, MA).  Like the baseball team, the softball team also had a successful fall season.  THey won the 2007 YSCC Title and look to newcomer, Darcey Webster (Windham, ME) to step on the mound and lead the Seawolves this spring.  The team is looking to build upon their success this fall by playing a spring season; only its second spring season offered so, the long term goal is to play a complete spring schedule with conference affiliation by the 2009 season.
