Work Hard, Play Hard The athletics program at Southern Maine Community College serves the needs of student athletes by developing competitive athletic teams, fostering individual leadership skills, and promoting an atmosphere of dedication to the campus community.
The SMCC athletics program is a member of the Yankee Small College Conference (YSCC) and the United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA), which provides post-season play for our athletic teams. SMCC has won numerous conference championships with several of our teams participating in the USCAA national tournaments.
Our athletic facilities provide the backdrop of our athletes' success. The outdoor sports complex features a soccer field and softball and baseball diamond, while the Hutchinson Union Building (HUB) Athletic Center provides our basketball teams with their home court and serves the campus community with a Wellness Center and weight room.

Seawolves athletics is a member of the United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA) and the Yankee Small College Conference (YSCC) the New England regional league of the USCAA.
