USCAA NATIONAL TOURNAMENT

Day 3

Championship- Williamson Trade defeated Taylor Fort Wayne in the USCAA National Tournament championship 80-68 on Saturday. Davar Watson led Williamson Trade with 27 points and 15 rebounds. Nate Armstrong also had a strong game with 17 points and 2 asissts.

 

Game #11- UC-Clermont outlasted Southern Maine Community College with a final score of 109-98. In a losing effort Chris Banks scored 45 points as well as his career 1000th point. UC-Clermont’s Travis Donald led his team with a total of 32 points and 5 rebounds. UC-Clermont finishes the tournament in 3rd place as SMCC finishes in 4th.

Game #10- In a fight for 5th place New Hampshire Technical Institute defeated PS- New Kensington 64-56. NHTI’s Stephan Roberts led all scorers with 18 points. Martin Olivier also had a good game by ripping down 12 rebounds. NHTI finishes the tournament in 5th place after winning their last two games. Ps- New Kinsington wraps up their tournament with a 6th place finish.

 

Game #9- Hesser College handed PS-Dubois their third loss of the weekend to start off the final day of the USCAA National Tournament. Kendall Walker led Hesser to victory with his 21 point and 15 rebound performance. Hesserw placed 7th in the tournament as PS-Dubois finished 8th.

Day 2

Game #8- Taylor Fort Wayne pulled away in the second half against Southern Maine Community College to lead to a 78-63 victory. AJ Gooden led all scorers with 29 points and 14 rebounds. The Victory sets up a championship matchup between Williamson Trade and Taylor Fort Wayne tomorrow afternoon at 3:30PM at SMCC.

Game #7- Williamson Trade held off a late comeback surge by UC-Clermont 57-54 in Friday nights Semi-Final. Davar Watson had a complete game with 16 points, 8 rebounds and 7 blocks. Williamson Trade will meet the winner of SMCC vs. Fort Wayne for the championship on Saturday at 3:30PM. The championship game will also be located in the HUB gymnasium on the SMCC campus.

Game #6- New Hampshire Technical Institute handed Hesser College their second loss of the Tournament. Josh Salter led NHTI with 18 points, while Jimmy Higgins controlled the boards with 12 total rebounds. NHTI will play their next game tomorrow at 11:30AM. Hesser College will wrap up their Tournament tomorrow at SMCC at 9:30AM.

Game #5- PS-New Kensington defeated Hesser 70-66 in the first of four games held on February 29, 2009 at Southern Maine Community College. Zach Ziemanski led all Penn State scorers with 18 points and 6 assists. PS- New Kensigton will compete for 5th place Saturday March 1 at 11:30AM.

Day 1

Game #4- Taylor- Fort Wayne Defeated New Hampshire Technical Instittue 62-49 to advance to the second round of the USCAA National Tournament. Taylor-Fort Wayne will play it’s next game Friday February 29th at 8:30 pm against Southern Maine Community College.

Game #3- Southern MaineCommunity College held off PS- Dubois with a final score of 82-76. Chris Banks and Coleman Findlay each had 20 points for the Seawolves. Dubois guard Kevin Genevro scored 30 points in a losing effort. Southern Maine Community College will play their next game Friday February 29th at 8:00pm

 

Game #2-Williamson Trade defeated Hesser 57-47 in the first round of the USCAA National Tournament. Leading scorer for Williamson Trade was Davar Watson with 20 points. Nate Armstrong solidified the defense with 7 steals and helped Williamson Trade make it to the semi finals of the tournament. Williamson’s next game will be Friday February 29th at 6:30PM against UC- Clermont.

 

Game #1- In the first round of the USCAA National Tournament UC- Clermont defeated PS- Kinsington 72-68. Stefan Dunn Led UC- Clermont in scoring with 18 points. Sean Yates also had a double double (13pt,15rb). UC- Clermont will play Friday February 29th at 6:30 PM.
