Congratulations Scott Nappi!!

Spring Seasons Hopeful for opening as Scheduled...

Both the Seawolves Baseball and Softball teams are hopeful to get outside for their first scheduled games of the season. The baseball and softball teams open up at home on Sat, April 5th. The softball team will play at Wainwright Complex in South Portland and the baseball team will be on their home field. First pitch will be thrown at 12:00pm.

The baseball team comes off a strong fall season where they won the 2007 YSCC Title and finished with an overall record of 16-6. Their defence will again be solid this spring with top defensive returners like Scott Napi (Portland, ME) and Chasen Barrit (Scarborough, ME). "I see us playing better baseball," says head coach Phil Desjardins. The coaching staff is also excited about the depth at the mound. Returners on the mound include Jon Virgilio (Cape Elizabeth, ME), Shawn Hall (W.Newfield, ME), and Colman Findlay ( South Portland, ME). Additions to the pitching staff this spring are newcomers Keith Dorion (Portland, ME) and Dan Walker (Falmouth, ME). "We may struggle hitting, but we will be very strong defensively," said Desjardins.
