Athletics
Whether you are interested in getting fit, participating in an intramural sport, or trying out for an intercollegiate team, our HUB Athletic Center has something for everyone. Catch a game, or stop by to tour the newly updated facility, talk with a staff member in our Athletic Department, or meet with a coach.
Department Visit(s)
You will have the opportunity to visit two program areas. Learn more from faculty about your major(s) of interest.
Applying to SMCC
Unsure where to begin? Take the guesswork out of enrolling at SMCC. Attend an enrollment session to learn the simple steps you need to take to apply to your program of choice, as well as how to apply to be considered for financial aid.
Student Panel
For students, by students. Learn what SMCC is all about …from a student’s point of view!
Parent Panel
For the parent(s). Learn about SMCC and get answers to your questions from a panel of faculty and staff.
Tours
Residence Hall Tours Interested in on-campus living? Tour our New Residence Hall (opened in January 2008) and our newly renovated Surfsite Hall.
Campus Tours Take a forty-five minute walking tour of our beautiful oceanside campus.
Visit the Campus Center
Academic Achievement Center Learn more about tutoring and academic support. Services are free and available to all students, and provided by faculty, staff and peer tutors.
Enrollment Services Stop by the Enrollment Services Office to learn about the application process and receive information on more than forty programs.
Financial Aid Looking for information on how to pay for college? Staff in our Financial Aid Office is available to answer your questions.
Library SMCC students have access to University of Southern Maine, University of New England, St. Joseph’s College, and Maine College of Art’s libraries. Our librarians can also help students get books from all over the state!
SMCC College Store Shop our SMCC College Store for unique college items. This is also the place to purchase all of your textbooks and supplies.
Student Billing Receive information on tuition and other related costs of attending Southern Maine Community College.
Americans with Disabilities Act Services Meet with a Disabilities Services Coordinator to discuss possible accommodations. Students are encouraged to do this early in their academic planning.
Career/Transfer Learn about the variety of career and transfer resources available to you as you plan for your future career. Services include career and major decision making assistance, transfer guidance, and job search planning.
Center for Student Involvement and Leadership (CeSIL) Learn about ways to become involved on campus. The center has information on the student clubs and organizations on campus, how to start a new student organization, activities and events on campus.
Veterans Affairs Speak with the Certifying Official if you are a Veteran or a Dependent of a Veteran. Learn about the application process for receiving GI Bill Benefits and pick up an application.
