Mandatory New Student On-line Orientation

All new SMCC students who are taking at least one class for credit are required to complete the College’s On-line Orientation. The On-Line Orientation is a quick and easy way to learn about the programs and services at SMCC and the policies and procedures that are essential to your success at the college. Please visit the SMCC On-Line Orientation and follow instructions. You must complete the entire orientation presentation to get credit for doing so. You will know when you have completed the presentation when a message appears that congratulates you for completing the orientation. If you do not complete the orientation, the college will place a hold on your student record that will not allow you to register for the next semester’s courses until you have completed the orientation.

New Student Orientation Program on Campus

Come for a half day session to visit key offices on campus, learn the secrets of success in college, meet faculty, staff and current SMCC students, and get to know other new students. The New Student Orientation program is designed to be interactive and fun as well as informative.
