Southern Maine Community College is committed to helping students achieve their career goals by offering a variety of career development resources and services. Assistance is offered in the following areas:
- Career exploration
- Resume and cover letter writing
- Interviewing techniques
- Job searching
A job posting board is maintained in the Campus Center and the College sponsors a number of job fairs throughout the year. Assessments and other career exploration tools, a library of career-related books and computer-based resources are also available for students in the Career and Transfer Center, located in the Student Services office in the Campus Center.
